Chili

(Makes about 3-4 servings)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 4 large carrots, sliced

  • 3 celery stalks, sliced

  • 4 Cloves of garlic, peeled and diced

  • 1/2 white onion, diced

  • 1 can tomato sauce

  • 1/2 can diced tomatoes

  • 1t olive oil

  • 1t chili powder

  • 1T cumin

  • 1t garlic powder

  • 1t onion powder

  • 1t salt

Sauté the oil, onion, carrots, garlic and celery in a skillet or instant pot for 5 min.  Add spices and ground beef and sauté until beef is browned. Add to slow cooker and turn on high or keep in instant pot and change setting to chili (30 min).  Add tomatoes and sauce. If using slow cooker, cook for 2 hours. For instant pot, close and seal and allow to self release! Enjoy!!
